Dear SHPC clients and Family ,

At shadow Hills Pet Clinic ,we are doing everything we can to stay available to our patients and clients to keep our community and pets healthy. As the corona virus (COVID-19) continues to spread globally, we are taking appropriate precautions to address the outbreak by following guidelines from CDC. Our current approach and response to COVID-19 are outlined below.

Shadow Hills Pet Clinic team members are doing our part to prevent the spread by practicing good hygiene at work and at home:

*Regularly washing hands for at least 20 seconds throughout the day , and after every patient, with warm water and soap. This is done more frequently than normal.

*Wearing masks and gloves.

*Avoiding making close contact with others, social distancing. No hand shakes.

*We are frequently cleaning and disinfecting our clinic and commonly used surfaces ( counter tops, keyboards, doorknobs, faucets, and stethoscopes.

*If you have any symptoms of acute respiratory illness , PLEASE REFRAIN FROM VISITING OR ENTERING  OUR CLINIC. Please follow CDC guidelines.

*Identify person who is willing and able to transport your pet to our office.

*We request that you call our clinic (818-767-3904) to make an appointment as we are scheduling limited  appointments at a given time to avoid close proximity.

*Once you arrive ,we request you to remain  in your car and call us  to let us know that your are here.

* Our staff can get the initial information regarding the reason for your pet's visit and health concerns on phone. One of our staff member will then retrieve your pet from your car , and doctor will perform a physical exam in the clinic. The doctor will call you at that time to discuss any findings and the plan moving forward. Once the exam and treatment is complete , we will process payment over the phone. Our staff member will bring your pet back to your car for you along with medications / instructions and receipt.

* We will continue to fill prescriptions , and ask you to plan ahead when needing refills. Please allow 2-3 days advanced notice for refill needs.

  • "Thank you! I’ve used other vets but you are by far the best."
    Nadine G.
  • "I can’t tell you how grateful we are that we have such awesome vets! Your patience, communication, and above-and-beyond care is just incredible, and I know Hammie and Bear are in great hands."
    Jena W.
  • "Dr. Mohan is one of the most caring vets we’ve known. Even our 18-year old cat, Oliver, immediately took to him–he articulated his affection very loudly and showed his appreciation by sharing something of a personal nature. Despite all of that, Natasha called him a “good boy.” We love Dr. Mohan!"
